Original publisher's beige paper wrappers with staple binding. Brown cloth tape on spine (unconfirmed if original). Black lettering and pencil inscription for name and room number on front. All of the coupons have been used and removed. No date, circa 1910s-1930s. 4 1/2" x 2 1/4." One page, not complete, sold as is. Covers are very clean and intact except for slight age toning and a few rust marks on back. Interior page is very clean and intact except for light age toning. A Very Good copy. An original booklet from Hotel St. Francis that contained paper coupons for guests to use during their stay at the hotel's dining rooms. The only page that remains introduces what the booklet is and lists three of the dining rooms within the hotel, namely, the Mural Room, the Grill Room, and the Men's Buffet. It is unclear if the coupons could have been used in these three dining rooms. This booklet belonged to guest Mrs. O. Schilling in Room 717. The booklet is "No. 225." The Hotel St. Francis is a historical hotel in San Francisco, California. The two south wings of the hotel were completed in 1904. The north wing, also known as the Landmark Building, was completed in 1913. The Landmark Building was originally built for permanent guests. Another wing, the Tower Building, was completed behind the original north and south wings in 1972. Hotel St. Francis saw many noted guests and celebrities over the years including Theodore Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson, Charlie Chaplin, Mabel Normand, Sinclair Lewis, John F. Kennedy, Ronald Reagan, and Queen Elizabeth II. The hotel is still open to this day in its original location and is currently known as the Westin St. Francis.. Ephemera.
